Privacy
MyFirstDouble is an educational simulation. It is built and run by one person, and it collects as little as it can while still working.
What we store
- Your email and password. The password is hashed — it is never stored or readable in plain text.
- Your simulation. Allocations, decisions and the theses you write, so the app can show you your own history.
- Notification settings. Only if you turn reminders on.
- Basic usage analytics. Aggregate events such as “a rebalance was completed”, used to see which parts of the app work. Not sold, not shared, not used for advertising.
What we do not do
No advertising. No selling or sharing of personal data. No real money, no bank details, no payment information — MyFirstDouble never asks for any, because there is nothing to pay for.
Age
You must be 13 or older to create an account. If you are under 18, talk to a parent, guardian or teacher before signing up. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it.
Classrooms
If you join a class group, the teacher who runs it can see your progress and read the theses you write inside that group. You are told before you join, and joining is your choice.
Deleting your data
Email matiaskids@icloud.com from your account address and everything tied to your account is deleted. No forms, no retention period.
Where it lives
Data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL, EU region) and the app is hosted on Vercel. Emails are sent via Resend.
Not financial advice
Everything in MyFirstDouble is simulated and educational. It is not investment advice, and past performance never predicts future results.
